Tattoo Cover Up
Mostly used as a temporary measure for a problem that has been there for a long time, tattoo cover up can also be used as a permanent solution. At the most fundamental level, you can use either clothes or makeup to cover up a tattoo so that it is no longer visible. Some people have made this a permanent way of life while there are those who use it simply as a way to manage the problem until they have decided on a permanent solution. If you are having a tattoo that is related to a certain gang or a previous partner that you are no longer with, you will certainly want to find a way to deal with the situation as soon as possible.
The easiest tattoos to cover up are those that are located on your arms or torso. These simply involves wearing appropriate clothing. In most climates, the arms will be covered up anyway at certain times of the year. It is easy to wear a light shirt with long sleeves during the summer months instead of one with short sleeves. This should be enough to cope with the majority of arm and body tattoos, although you may need a white covering under a light shirt to stop a really prominent tattoo showing through.
You can use makeup cream for tattoos that are located in areas that cannot be covered up in this way. This will be able to obscure the tattoo completely if it is worn in the right way. You will need to be very careful in your choice of color and shade if the covering is not to look obvious. If you have tattoos on different parts of your body, you may well need a different shade of covering for each one.
These solutions, although temporary, will enable you to live your life normally without any worries about having your unwanted tattoos to be seen. You may be happy to manage like this for an indefinite period of time, or you may just want to cope until you can arrange to have laser removal carried out. This is an expensive and time consuming procedure, so you may want to consider the alternative of permanently covering up the tattoo.
This permanent solution of a tattoo cover up can be effective only if you are prepared to have another tattoo made over the original unwanted one. The procedure involves going to a tattooist and having them create another tattoo over the top of the old one. This needs to be of a darker color than the original, and obviously there can be no gaps where the old tattoo used to be. This is the only way to permanently cover up the message or picture of an old tattoo which is no longer wanted. It is a relatively cheap procedure, certainly much cheaper than laser surgery, and it will achieve a permanent tattoo cover up.
